| Will my expression pedal work? | Any expression pedal should work with the Vortex. To verify plug the foot pedal into the footpedal jack of the VORTEX. Press the PEDAL/TAP button so that the LED next to it lights and move the pedal to determine if it goes through the range of the parameter selected by the PARAMETER knob. |
| What kind of footpedal can be used with the VORTEX? | An expression pedal with a T/R/S cable. |
| What are the footpedal specifications to work with the Vortex? | On page 5 of the User Guide the footpedal specs are listed as; Tip, Ring, Sleeve with a pedal potentiometer of 10 - 50K. Also, the Roland EV5 pedal has been used with the Vortex and is reported to work well. |

| Does the Vortex have an envelope follower? | Yes, each program of the Vortex has an envelope follower assigned to do different things. The Effects descriptions section of the owner's manual (pp25-57) describes the programs. |
| My Vortex is noisy. | There is no output knob on the Vortex. Try adjusting the output level parameter. Select Output with the Parameter Knob, then adjust the level with the Value Knob. If adjusting the output levels does not solve the problem contact Lexicon Customer Service for a repair authorization. Lexicon's flat repair rate for the Vortex is $95 US. Outside of the US, contact your local Lexicon dealer/distributor. |
